And what "if" a competitor decides to "rate you", give you a bad rap, and their cousin, along with Mom and the next door neighbor too. Good luck fighting that (as we have seen on many a negative Nazi's posts...I mean Knotties).
Is one sure they are willing to roll the dice with their reputations, being totally out of their control, for a few worthless tire kickers? I decide who, what, when, and where my ads go.
Cap, I've been in business for too long and my customers are smart enough to know when a competitor has posted a fake review.
Right now, I have one on a page (not Eventective) which is buried on Page 3 of Google. Fortunately, I monitor all these sites on a regular basis.
Even more fortunately, the page is on one of the subsidiary pages of IAC (InterActive Corporation, owners of Ticketmaster, City Search, Insider Pages, Merchant Circle, Fandango, etc).
Kate Bxxxxx (married October '05) is a Senior VP of IAC/City Search and can vouch for my reputation, since she's one of my customers! (her review is "Fun Lover in SF", in City Search)
being afraid of Fraudulent Reviews is RIDICULOUS.
once you are established, like I am, with lots of successful events and a positive track record......its pretty hard for jealous competitors to derail something like that!
