Pat, are you on Windows? Go and Download Paint.net (http://www.filehippo.com/download_paint.net/) open your images and resize them manually before upload. Be sure to save as so as not to overwrite the existing image. I had problems with Smush.It and very large images.
I noticed you had an equipment page set up. I see you didn't list everything you're using to DJ with. You mentioned the speakers but what about what you're using to actually play the music? Now just remember most won't have a clue as to what is professional equipment and what isn't. That's unless they ask a professional is the stuff you're using professional equipment. Most won't go through that trouble.
Did you bother to read that whole blog? It is not about what brands are professional or not.......it is about home grade equipment vs actual pro grade equipment.
