Folks,

For those of yas who were part of my old MySpace page, I apologize for leaving you in the dark. I closed it due to spamming.

The new login is DJ Wolfie. Feel free to add us and share your thoughts.

Thanks. :)

thats why I took the move to only add Dj's, Artists and the bands (also record companies and a few others)

but no one that is a normal user from myspace as to me they are ALL spammers

Spam is easily controlled at MySpace with filters available, CAPTCHA options, etc... If you are not sure, drop a note here, otherwise adjust your account settings appropriately. I rarely if ever get spam or dummy add requests any more.

Chances are you may have been hacked by something you clicked on. That is as easy to fix as changing your password.

No matter how many times I read this it's still funny. :D

Wolfie, if you ever met her she would leave you in stitches. She is funny as hell and has the greatest sense of humour. She really makes me happy and I can honestly say I struck gold with her. We make 10 years on August 15th and I look forward to many more years with The Piece.
She responds to Piece like it's her first name. Even her mother slipped and called her that on Thanksgiving last year.

Well Fred you finally motivated me to create a myspace page if anyone wants to add me here's the link

Just added you Jeffster..:sqwink:

For anyone who has not already done so, be sure to add me too. My page was wiped out and my friends list was deleted about a month ago, so am not sure who I have not added back yet

Thanks, guys.

Harry's right about the privacy settings. I wasn't aware of 'em at first. Myspace is so rife with ads and sponsored links, it can become annoying to find anything.

You can customize your privacy settings to keep the spammers at bay with CAPTCHA and keep the unwanted out by requiring incoming messages from non-friends to know your last name, for example. You may also place comments in a moderation queue if you wish. None of these are settings are default ~ you have to modify it yourself.

I'm fairly new to Myspace as you can tell and had to figure this out on my own. :D

Another tip is to hide your friends and comments, and insert a box that requires users to actually type their comments and not use an auto commenter.

See my page as a reference.
