Now in our 6th year, The New Jersey Disc Jockey Network is making a concerted effort to enlist new members.
Having presented exciting seminars at The DJ Times Conventions over the past three years, the NJDJN has established it's credibility in providing on-going education and networking. Over the past two years, our monthly meetings have included seminars by some of the biggest names in the industry, on topics such as marketing, social networking, health and wellness, Search Engine Optimization, web site construction, L.E.D. Lighting and more. Presenters included Big Daddy Sean McKee, Marcello, Mike Walter, Adam Weitz, Johnny K, Mike Fernino, Steve Moody, Mike Wieder, Randi Rae, Peter Murray, Randy Bartlett, Dr. Drax, and myself.

Our purpose and goal is to improve performance and business practices and ethics through peer networking and on-going education.

We invite all working DJs throughout our region to join our network of mobile DJ professionals. Our members hail from Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at The Crowne Plaza Hotel on Rt 27, in Edison NJ.

Thats great Mr. Cie. If I lived in your region I would have been happy to join. Its great to see members of a like industry getting together and pooling their resources and ideas for the good of all involved. Congrats also on the deal with Bank of America
 
This may sound weird coming from a former member, but the NJDJN is a great organization.

FYI: The reasons I am a former member is because I more-or-less retired from being a DJ a couple years ago, and I often have a conflict on Tuesday evening.


Steve left out a couple important points:

Meetings start at 7:00 with a networking / meet-and-greet. The actual meeting starts around 7:30. Many members feel that half an hour isn't enough time, so they meet at the diner across the highway, at about 5:00. (Some even earlier!)

Across the other street is the Pines Manor catering facility where meeting are occasionally held. (At least that happened when I was still going regularly.)
