I don't particularly care for the H2 or H3. The original Hummer, the H1 that one's on my wish list.

They are out of my price range.....Or rather what I am willing to spend.
Even the Chevy Trailblazer will make my monthly investment more than I want to spend.

We are looking at a lease on the Hummer and because of the residual value, it makes the payments VERY affordable.

Nope! I am with you!
I never once liked the look. The only reason why Sandy and I went to look is because of the deal that we could get on one. After we sat in it and then drove it, we were pretty much sold.

That makes me think of my old dog. He is pretty ugly, smells bad and slobbers buckets full. But ya know something? We still love him :)

I had an ESCALADE, an '03 one, and trust me, the H3 is nowhere near the size of the Caddy. I believe the H3 is right in between the TrailBlazer and the Tahoe.

For anyone who's wondering, we just got an '07 Suburban, and I swear that thing rides like a minivan. The ride is sooooo smooth.......... If you're looking for something larger then the H3, I HIGHLY reccomend the new Suburbans or Youkon's.
 
Improvements in suspensions over the years have made trucks handle and ride better than the older ones. For comparison in Mexico City where pot holes are a penny a dozen you'll be able to notice the dramatic differences in suspensions. The Hummers ride quite nicely. I've got a 2001 Lincoln Navigator 4x4 and a 2005 Navigator 4x4 in the 2005 You've got an independent rear suspension compared to the solid axle on my 2001. The difference in ride quality is amazing.

Here's My Take....

I persoanally find it annoying when I am in a city and see people driving monster SUV's, be is a Hummer, Escalade or Suburnan. However, I think everyone should just do what they want and not worry about what anyone else says.

If you want it, get it and don't worry about how you will be percieved or looked at.
 
That doesn't matter...I still think they're ugly!
 
The only thing that annoys with SUVs is when they park near a corner and you cannot see around them when you're trying to turn off a side street.

My friends' grandmother is this tiny little thing about 4'10" and drives a huge Expedition. I crack up laughing every time I see her driving it. It's the funniest thing to me, this sweet little old lady driving this monster SUV.

@Arnoldo: I love Cadillacs, one of my first cars was an '86 DeVille, it's ruined me for all other cars, that thing was so comfortable. Even the Lincoln I'm driving around now, doesn't compare.
 
Even though I'm not a fan of the Hummer,
I say, you have one life to live, enjoy it!,
if its what you want, then get it!
Clients will always find something they don`t like about someone.... or they'll like the image.
But most of all, they'll see youre happy and living it up!
Even though we are business owners, you don`t live for anyone else but you and your family. If you don`t mind paying more for gas, then get what you like. I've seen successful people that have off-the-wall stuff, they don`t care, its the fact that they can do whatever they like that attracts people.
