Need up lighting for June

I had a bride contact me about her June 13 wedding and she now wants to do some up lighting. I have never done this and don't own any par cans to do it. I am looking for a rental place that will rent me the fixtures or a company that will sub contract. If I had the budget and funds I would buy the cans but unfortunately I don't. I am slightly panicking now.

I believe my brother eldjdelcaribe received great advice from MBM here in the chat he will be able to guide you in this issue.
 
First I would check with her to see what her budget is, and maybe meet at the venue to see how many cans you will need to light the area(s) she wants to light.
Also find out if she wants a static color, hopefully she does if the cans will be spreadout all around the room.
If she wants static color next try to find cans with dip switches to select the color some have 3 switches per color, other like Chauvet LEDRain series only have 2 switches per color. Find out the color she wants and look on this chart and find the closest match you can with the switches.

I would check with other local DJs or Rental shops that might rent out cans.
 
She wants static colours and I figure I'll need 10 or 12 fixtures in the hall. She had casually mentioned this earlier but she hadn't confirmed it until now. I have under four weeks to get this together.

NLFX to the rescue!

I just ordered two Rain 56's from NLFX and they arrived yesterday. I think cost is around $120 per light. I just did an uplighting package for a bride for 8 static uplights for $600. Doesn't take long to pay for them then!
