Need mixer suggestion

Hey all,

We are going to be ordering this to help clean up the table a bit and make set up easier:

and I need a new mixer to fit into it. A couple things I am looking for:

Must be rack mountable and already have the mounts installed on it

Must have 2 XLR mic inputs

Must have at least one RCA input

XLR and 1/4 outs (the 1/4 out can be through a head / monitor, we use it to control the outputs of our powered speakers when we use them)

Trying to keep it under $350

We had looked at this one, but I don't think it will fit into the rack

Beats me. I thought 19 was standard, but I have been making my own cases for years now. GC has the Behringer too. Pop in and have them fire it up for you.


UPDATE: I see you case is wide enough to support the 19" (Dimensions (exterior): 21.25"W x 13"H x 14.75"D)

*The Behringer is 19" as well.
 
I like the looks of the Stanton, but I don't see any cases that would go with it for a laptop within our price range, we are looking not to go over $600 for both the case and mixer combined

Yep, but it also has wheels :)

Every venue in our area is a straight load in / load out, no steps or risers to content with.
 
Also, the only thing we will be putting in it is 2 amps, as that is all we use now.

The idea of not having to carry a table around anymore, and making a smaller facade is the most appealing aspect to that rack.
 
Loading it in and out of a truck/trailer, especially if you're alone.... even negoting a slight change in flooring height will pose challenges....wheeling across gravel/slush...

Two amps; buy a nice light Gator/SKb injected 10space case with wheels to hold your amps and than a 10lb dj capsule with laptop stand....Ease of portablity and all light weight. You can stack them ; buy the SKB wing....

Strap it all on a cart; use that as your table and just put a facade in front of it....
 
we already have the amps in a Gator case...and the thing is only 2 feet off the ground.

The Behringer is a very versatile Mixer. I have been using one now I would guess 7 years. The new ones has a USB connection. For the money, its the best bang for the buck plus its real nice looking. You have individual gains and sliders on each channel plus a master Gain. Each channel is also switchable to line or other. The mics have their own EQ and Volume control with XLR inputs on the top or 1/4" on the back.
The rack you chose http://accessories.musiciansfriend....-Case?sku=620971&CJAID=10381297&CJPID=4173788 should be fine. Mine probably weighs over 300lbs and I get it in and out of my van by myself. Today I am adding a reverb to one of the last two empty spaces available, thats an extra 7lbs LOL. Mine is a 16space slant top. Make sure you wire and label everything neatly and your setup/tear down time will be lessened. Roll your speaker cables the proper way so you can leave the amp end attached in the case. When you roll in you should only have your laptop, speaker cables and AC cable to connect. You are doing great man. You have come a long way. Keep up the good work.
 
So Houston, you think dollar for dollar, the Behringer would work just as well as the Stanton for what I would use it for? (remember, we pretty much just do weddings, no clubs)
