Any idea what the price on the karaoke LCD tv stand will be?

$69. :)

Can the new Odyssey Keyboards be used with the Denon HD2500, or are they just for Serato and Traktor?

I don't see why you couldn't use them for any USB keyboard application. The skin is a separate piece, and you have a regular backlit USB QWERTY keyboard.

Okay... day 2 (or at least some of it... sorry, no Numark yet for you).

New from American DJ, the Comscan LED package, the Jellyfish, and the Vizi LED moving head. All are sure to be winners. There were other new items, but these caught my eye.

Allen & Heath added a member to the iLive family. We've done really well with iLive for install, and I think this board and digital snake will also do well.

Allen & Heath also introduced a couple new Zed boards, including models with onboard effects... at awesome price points!

SoundCraft announced their new NotePad series of mixers, including one with onboard effects, that replaces their much missed CompACT series.

Chauvet showed it's new Satellite DC power module for running select new Chauvet fixtures on battery, and they have a model that is also a wireless DMX receiver.

Perhaps the coolest thing at the show... Ultimate support showed off the strength of their stands by using them to support a Smart car. We've been preaching it for years, and this demo really shows the difference Ultimate stands make!

Beyond that, Ultimate also showed the prototype for a new gear cart. We'll be showing this, and a few other new items from Ultimate at Mobile Beat.

Wow the ultimate cart looks like my Rock N Roller with solid tires. Awesome!! Any idea on the price for it?

Not yet. That will be announced at Mobile Beat. :)

Ben,

In your opinion, would these seem more sturdy than a R&R? I take it that both ends fold onto itself?

If so, I'm DEF. interested in seeing this in Vegas.

Cheers,

Joe

PS: Heather wants the car.... :)

The issue with the SKB shelf is it's HUGE. Remember, it's mounting on top of a rack with 14U of depth. It has enough room for a LOT of stuff.

BTW, I have a Mighty Gig Rig and AV Shelf for it. ;)

If you mount it to something else, you have to be careful how much weight you put on it because it acts as a 'lever' if you're not careful and will tip the case over.

It will fit under the Mighty GigRig top, but even though it was designed to 'clear' the 'larger' mixers (like the Mackie Onyx line) the rack rails mount the mixer pretty high and it 'can' hit the knobs if you're not careful. Modified rack rails are needed - at least with an Onyx 1620.

As to the thread... will you have keyboards with you at MBLV? And do you know the price? I'd like to get one or two while I'm there. :)

I'm also interested in more information on the iLive... Don't think I'm ready for one yet... but it 'might' fit an idea I've been thinking about lately.

NM - It looks like it's a lot like the Digidesign Venue setup - which is overkill....

Awesome hope you will stock at least one of those stands.... as I will buy one.

They are on the way. :)

Don't know really yet. The prototype was VERY sturdy. It endured a 350lb guy jumping up and down on it at full extension. Come see it in Vegas and we'll all know more. LOL

Yes, we will have keyboards at MBLV, and I do know the price. ;) I can't post it here though, sorry. Drop me an e-mail and I'll reply with it.

Also, let me know your application for the iLive. They have several models in the family, and it might be a good fit.

Cool, ADJ released the new model Kat! If I order her, is the light included?

Yep. ;)

Well friends, I apologize. I didn't get a lot of stuff posted here. Certainly not as much as I wanted to. I was able to spend a little time with the hot new pieces from Denon, Numark, Rodec and Vestax, but with 62 meetings in 4 days, that didn't leave a lot of time for anything but the plain, boring old boiler room meetings that I am obligated for at NAMM.

However, rest assured that our people have prototypes being shipped to them and we'll try to master these technologies as quickly as possible to remain helpful, and we will be showing several at MBLV for those attending there.

I want to thank you all for a great 2009, and we're excited about 2010. Please let us know how we can continue to be your dealer of choice for years to come. Call me, or send me an e-mail and share that valued information with me.

I spoke with someone at SKB about 3 months ago. They are working on another shelf expected to be shipping second quarter 2010. I currently use the mini gig-rig. They told me the AV1 shelf does NOT work with it. I'm sure if I monkeyd around I could make it work with the gator case (I have one of those too) since the gator case has quite a bit of clearance due to the top design.

I have seen the new shelf... it's pretty nice. Smaller, but nice. I will try to post a picture of it shortly.
