Time to share some of the interesting moments. Here's one...

About two years ago I was DJing a pool party at an exclusive private pool. The members were all of the rich variety and the body maintenance indicated that they spent most of their time in the gym and tannind spa. The guys were all in Speedos and the ladies in thong bikinis. Sorry, I have no pictures.

Well, I played the "Man I Feel Like A Woman" game. I asked fro nine ladies and three guys and they separated themselves into three teams of one guy and three ladies. The object of the game is to have the ladies, with whatever resources they have, turn their guy into the best female possible. They have the entire length of the Shaniah Twain song to do it. It explained this and started the song.

They disappear.

I give the two minute warning, one minute warning, thirty second warning, and then finally start counting down from ten seconds. I bring them back with the Rob Zombie version of Brick House.

So, the teams show up. The guys are in thong bikinis and one lady is missing from each team.

In the back of my mind I knew that there was one lady from each team in the locker room, nude. I savored this thought.

I then indicated that there was one person missing from each team and that all three teams would be disqualified if all of the members were not present.

Before I had a chance to indicate that I was joking one of the ladies from one of the teams runs over to the locker room and tells them that they had to come out.

THEY DID! They did not have a stitch on. OK, I've seen some beautiful, nude women with perfect bodies before but only in magazines. They really looked good.

I was very speachless for a while. I also had to retreat behind my rig...

Question is, did they rehire you for the following year????? :D:D:D:D:D:D

That sucks ;)

Mine would be just a few weeks ago..(St.Pats day)

A young 20 somethin pup had way too much to drink, and passed out on my dance floor, Leaning in the window sill right by me.
He tipped over into me, so some guys picked him up and put him in a chair.

He sat there passed out for almost an hour, then i noticed he was gone...
he moved over to the half-wall that was between the enterance and the stage.

I was working on my mix, when i heard some of the girls scream......:sqeek:
I thought to myself.."Oh no he just threw up"

I look over and it was almost that bad....He whipped out his sprinkler
and was pissing all over my dance floor!!!:sqlaugh:
I got the attention of the bouncer who was right behind him, and in short notice
he was dragged out of the bar in a head lock...:sqlaugh::sqlaugh:

They closed down.

Ya think?

Alright, nobody else is goping to ask so I might as well:

On the one hand, this is like the 5th time you've posted about nudity or nudists, paralleled by an equivalent number of religious references.

Is there a mid-life issue here?

I would but I'd only get in trouble.

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. Give this man a prize. :sqwink:

At my last club, I was bombarded with nekkidness for 4 years! Nekkid woman come up to your boobs oops I mean booth, to request a song and by the time she gets back to her seat i can't remember what she requested but sho can remember how she looked! (Good!!!!!!!!!!:sqlaugh:)

Probably due to public nudity :sqlaugh:

No, while that happened there quite a bit as I understand, the place was rather secluded. There were no homes nearby and the property was heavily wooded. The owner of the property thought it would make more money if he razed the property and built houses.

Then the bubble burst. There now stand many houses with for sale signs on that property.

I might be fifty but I haven't hit mid-life yet.

One of my favorite moments had a little to do with the guests at this particular wedding....

We were playing Bon Jovi "Livin' on a Prayer"...well the guest were diggin this song so much...it was easy to hear them overpowering my speakers...*alright so I didnt have Dynacord/Bose blah blah blah..lol*....

so taking advantage of the moment we turned down the volume, and "WOWWY"...I've heard people sing back songs before numerous times..but this one took the cake! I mean it was literally so loud, they could have had noise complaints.

I really never thought much of that song...but it was almost like we were Bon Jovi, and we had the most loyal fans singing our song back to me. It truly was a moment that is hard to forget, but then again..I have had a lot of other fun moments.

So to answer your real question...I could pick things out of every event I have ever done, and pick an excerpt on what I enjoyed, and what made it special.

I have noticed lately..they more of a gig whore I have became, the less likely it is for me to take a special moment from an event. This truly is very sad, and it contradicting what I "TRULY" love about djing.

But no worries, our strategy is changing, and we are moving on up.

Good topic my friend! Did I say good...let's say "GREAT TOPIC, MY FRIEND!"
