Whatever happened to the footer that showed who was currently browsing a forum/thread...?

I know it went away a while back when you came back from FL. I liked that, as you can target yer audience :sqbiggrin:

I turned it off while troubleshooting the speed problems as it has an effect on performance. I've turned it back on for both users viewing threads and forums.
 
Here's one for ya Dan :)

When the portal was here, it would remember my sign in name and password, and all I had to do was click Login. Since the portal is gone, it doesn't remember me, and I have to go through all the trouble of typing an "S", to get my popup to list my name.

Any chance of having the cookie remember me on the regular start page...

Thanks Randy! I got that fixed. :) I wonder why Firefox is suppressing broken images, I seen no sign that an image is even supposed to be there. :sqerr:

I'm pretty sure I can fix that. It happens because vBulletin by default has "User Name" in the user name field, therefore FF's form filler doesn't kick in because half of the set is already filled. It should be a quick template edit but I'm not sure if vB passes the user name as plain text; I know the password is hashed before sending.

I'll look at the template now to get an idea but I've been up going on nearly 36 hours with only 4 hours sleep, I'm getting sloppy so I don't really want edit anything right now as I might break login for folks. Bump this so I'll see it again in the morning.. Thanks. :)
 
Dan -- you're going to be very jealous! :) The new upgrades to my SMF forum are so cool. I have employed the help of Customizer from the SMF team to create our new look. I did borrow your color scheme of red (added some dark grey and black) for the new look because it's so sweet and delicious! Heck, I even have a portal that isn't all spazzed out! I'll shoot you a link when it's up and running, so you can take a peak. We're still moving all the MODS over to the customized theme, but it shouldn't be long.
