You are so far off base it isn't even funny. You have no idea what my sense of politics is, so attempting to comment on it is silly. My sense of politics is extremely non-partisan - I agree with many Republican stances as well as many Democrat stances. I am a registered Republican. However, I have no patience for stupidity and the past eight years have definitely moved a great deal in that direction. And I find it just sad that people point to the ridiculous Clinton impeachment as the downfall of the Presidency while Bush has run this country (and not to mention Iraq) to the brink of economic collapse by lying about the need to invade Iraq. The costs of these lies and the subsequent wasting of government funds and American lives will be felt for decades to come.

By the way, I am far from being alone in this train of thought. Just reference Bush's declining approval ratings.
 
Sometimes the right thing for the future isn't the most popular one.

Thats why I respect a President that does what he feels is important for our nation and not what is the easier and more popular thing to do like cut and run.

I am always up for a good debate.

What I am not up for is people who simply push their own agenda over and over, without ever taking into account what others are saying, which is EXACTLY what you have been doing this whole thread.

A perfect example is why did you have to mention Bush's approval ratings when it has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING being said here?

Kind of just shows your hidden agenda.

And for the record (and as most who come here regularly know), I am do not fall on either side of the political line, because I think ALL politicians are nothing but snake oil salesman who will tell you whatever you want to here just to get them in office.

That is all, you will not be hearing from me again in this thread because it would be pointless to go on trying to reason with you.

It actually has to do with what I was saying about my political views. And the ratings comment was used to support my statement that, despite being a registered Republican, I am completely frustrated by what the current administration has done to the country. No hidden agenda after I already told you my stance. Sorry you don't seem able to comprehend logical discussion...

Interesting person -- I've read up a lot on her.

Pretty much normal person, like you or I (well, maybe not me -- I'm sorta eccentric).


If anybody wants change inside the beltway, this is probably the one who can pull it off...

Uncle Vlad does not want to see this combo anywhere near Washington -- that should tell you something right there.

I expect she will not be your silent type of VP, and will shake things up quite a bit... ;)
