Looking for a 19" mixer

I checked out the owner's manual to see if it describes what the "digital in" is for....not much of a descrption/definition.

Anyone?
 
Not sure Bill, I had my buddy the pro audio manager at the guitar center hook all my stuff up. I know that with one USB connection you can assign different decks on your computer to different channel on your mixer. When I bought it I was only concerned with the up to 3 mic channels my two CD decks and one channel for my computer and the zone feature which is very very cool. It has worked great for me. Hopefully these videos will help.

Digital In if it looks like a standard RCA connection but with an orange center then it's the same "Digital Out" that is on most DVD players and is literally digital versus analogue. And can pass complex things such as AC-3 Digital surround sound info. among other digital signals as well.
