The Mac vs. PC debate is alive and well here as well.

It all depends on what you are Running, Serato and Virtual DJ run beautifully on nearly any machine. more intensive DVSs require higher specs, Traktor Scratch Pro (I Use This) require specs that are nearly unachievable on a PC for 100% perfect Use. even on a MAc it gets sketchy sometimes. ableton is the same.

but although I am an AMD user in the real world, for music software Intel 100%
and for what it's worth if you use external drives, always go Lacie.

That is true, however it is true of all industries, what you have to do is attempt to Future-proof yourself.
