Hey all,

If you have an outstanding order from Jamstar, please PM me and let me know when you ordered. I'm would like to get some idea about the number of us who are still waiting. (Cap, restrain yourself)

Thanks,

Dave

Might I suggest careful treading? There are some who have already paid for these and are way beyond the time frame for charge backs.

Get those peoples money back first before high pressures lead them into a chapter 11.

But, once our brothers and sisters have gotten their dollars back, nail 'em to a barn.

I'm glad somebody is doing something, Dave, so please don't misunderstand the post. It's that "worst case scenario" thought process my life is plagued with.

I know of several folks who are out quite a chunk of change and will be telling them to contact you to coordinate efforts.

If you do a simple Google of Jamstar lighting customer service or review or something similiar, you'll see that many, many people are having the same issues with this company. I'm just glad I didn't pull the trigger when Kevin first talked about them.

Hey all,

Thanks for the input. If you are directly affected, please pm me. Cap, I am treading lightly AND I'm one of those people who are out some decent coin. I'm very interested in trading stories at this point, so PM away.

Thank you all!

Dave

Dave : Oh, man, I'm sorry to hear that, damn!

I just barely got out of it. The minute the charges showed up on my credit card and I had no lights in hand, I disputed the charges immediately under the no product no pay reason. $2,500.00. Whew. This was in August right after the DJ Times show.

There's my story. If I can be of any help, let me know.

I want to chime in and urge anyone and everyone who has a pending order with JamStar Lighting to contact Dave with the details of your order.

If JamStar has your money, you have limited time in which you are protected. The problem is that this company is telling untold numbers of people that their orders are coming, and after x number of days (depending on your payment method), you will not be able to recover your money from your bank, credit card company or PayPal and you will be left to the mercy of JamStar.

If you are holding on to the hope that eventually your order will ship, you may be in for a big disappointment and you are taking a huge risk by trusting that JamStar will do the right thing.

Check received in today's mail, postmarked December 23rd, which is funny because I spoke with a company rep who initiated contact with me to tell me my check was in the mail on December 9th!

I'm just glad to be done with them. I still strongly recommend avoiding this company.

Okay. Let's see. Think unscrupulous. Think skulduggery. Dump Pollyanna and embrace greed.

If the price is $99.99, or $149, or $199, or $299 but there's no stock to sell, what difference does the price make? AHA!! Except when a supply becomes available, and they run a sale, say for $350, imagine how many they'll be able to move when some folks think they are getting 50% off not realizing it's been marked up 400%?

Smart. Very smart. Somebody's been in retail management before, perhaps in jewelry.

Ain't sayin' this is what is going on, just offering a possible scenario.

Let me know when they are liquidated.......Lathrop CA is about an hour's drive from Sacramento.

I want to be one of the vultures descending on the carcass!!!
