Is it really that bad in Ohio?

My wife had a great 2 days in Cleveland when we saw a show at The House of Blues.
Great restaurants around there..


I hear this a lot. It's interesting what a little first hand knowledge does for people.

Also, and this is true for some other major cities, when they show the population in the city of Cleveland declining, they don't show the suburbs growing. The city I live in is growing leaps and bounds, so it is very misleading when people see the population of Cleveland declining. No suburb of Cleveland could be growing if things were actually as bad as Forbes makes it out to be.
The area still has a large, mostly happy population. A much improved highway system over the last 20 years has made it easier and easier for people like myself to live 20 miles outside of the city itself in newer houses and still be able to work in Cleveland.

Forbes sells magazines. Unfortunately, negativity sells. The truth doesn't.
