Is Anyone Using This?

I am really considering getting a pair of these. Is anyone on this Forum using them? Two DJs to whom I rent my equipment use these with a small Rane Mixer in the middle and Apple Laptops with Serato DJ Programs. They are really nice and have the natural feel of vinyl.

The CDJ-1000s are great units! They're very popular with those who prefer CDs over vinyl.
As a note, they were discontinued a couple months ago and replaced with the CDJ-900 / CDJ-2000.

I use this and a laptop and believe me it feels more like vinyl than those Pioneer decks, it also cost a we bit less.

The guys who I know that use them, do so in conjunction of Serato. They don't use Cds. They use MP3s from their Hard Drive.

I use both the 1000's and the 800's. They are industry standards in the club world. Most every club jock I have talked to or networked with swears by them.
