Where I am, decidio charges $1 per lead. I plunked down $20, and probably have 2 or 3 left. So far, I've netted absolutely squat from it.
Would I buy the lead? Yes, and here's why. You said it was a) nearby, b) a date you're available, c) in your price range, and d) it's one dollar.
I would ask a question that no one has asked yet (unless I missed it, catching up with 2 pages on this one): what's on the list? If the list contains enough "ingredients" that I feel I can make it work, I'd take the job. If I can get an understanding of what this bride is either afraid I'll do (which is one reason she might want 100% control), or understand her vision to an extent that I feel I can provide what she's interested in, I'd take the job.
I cannot determine, from email, the difference between a bridezilla, and an overly concerned bride, who could become the nicest woman you'd ever meet, once you get past the rough exterior and into to her "comfort zone" (presuming she allows me - or you, in). For a dollar, I'd take the chance, being fully prepared to walk away at any point.
Sometimes you jump through the hoops, and that's it, you win! Other times, you jump through the hoops, and they keep firing more and more hoops at you. I'll do the former. I'll pass on the latter.
