I just pulled the plug on a 6000.

I took that controller to the GC in Springfield, NJ and the manager took one look and said it was busted. He refunded my money. I'm glad I was talked into returning it.

I was going to make it work even though some things were broken and not working right. That was crazy as bad as that controller looked. That was enough not to keep that controller. 2 issues were one of the mic knows was broken and one of the slides didn't work with VDJ on the slides in VDJ. Thanks for beating me up.

I saw another 6000 on Ebay for $320 with $20 for shipping. I made a offer for $300 and they accepted the offer. So with shipping and tax it's almost $335. I saw a picture of it lit up. It said it was tested and works. It will be here between Wednesday May 15th and 18th. Wish me luck.

Maybe you shouldn't be buying while you aren't thinking clearly Mixxy? You have issues when you hitting on all eight.

I hear you. I did see one thing I liked. This seller has a bunch of other things for sell. I stopped scrolling because I saw over 15 items already.

Mix what other controllers have you used? I I used the mc6000 for years once you try some other brands or even better Denons you quickly realize how much better quality other stuff can be
For me and the DJ I am, I'm not into all the bells and whistles other controllers have. I like things simple. I do a great job with that controller. It's easy for me to understand and use.

Again as I have said it's about what any of you feel comfortable with. You can have the latest thing out there today. That will not make you a good DJ. They are always coming up with new controllers all the time. Some feel they have to have the latest. So some will keep upgrading just because it's the latest thing.

Tunes4046 since you had the 6000 and decided to stop using that controller and decided on another controller, which did you choose and what's the difference between the 6000 and the one you use now?

I chose the Roland 707M it’s the close in size to the denon but much better quality faders and far superior sound all around I was stunned at the difference, the denon feels like a toy in comparison

I can't argue with what you did. It works for you great. The 6000 for me works. I didn't know another controller can make the music sound better. I have never had anyone complain about the music not sounding the way it should because of the controller being used.

I will say one thing I like about the 707 M. It has 2 lines to use 2 laptops at the same time I think or at least as I saw on YouTube if there's an issue with one laptop you can quickly switch to the other one without wasting a lot of time setting up a second laptop.
