Are you shooting video messages in your booth?

Using the flash on the camera or a strobe?

Thanks very much btw for the info related....

Yes, my booth has video capability. It's an Atlanta Photobooth with LED lighting panels and the on-camera flash is also used during photo sessions.

So Paul - the nifty 50 would work fine in a photobooth application, for stills and the added benefit of low light response for video?

I know it was directed to Paul, but I wouldn't use a 50mm lens in the photobooth. Using the 50mm would be like zooming all the way in with the 18-55mm lens that you probably have now - it's just too close-up.

I'm at my birthday party right now. Small crowd so far. I took some pictures and now I'm using a different card shooting video. Just want to see what it will look like. The DJ is killing it. His name is Sweets. He's playing his ass off!

I took some pictures and video last night at my birthday party. The pictures and video turned out very good. I liked it. Nothing good enough to have for the website or to show to potential clients but please do rememnber they were taken in a bar. Not at someones fancy wedding at a nice catering hall.

Thanks Brendan - I'm getting the Atlanta Booth as well (Model 5 - 15"). Nice tyo know your experience with both stills and photos is good.
