SO.......here's my follow up.
Took me an hour to just get my gear in. Another frickin' DJ had just finished an event ahead of me, came out of the elevator, stood in the front of the door to "primp" & looked straight at me as the elevator doors closed behind him & went back up to the 95th floor. Acted as if I was the problem. Anyway - everything went extremely well & the staff at the Signature Room were excellent.
Parking was $32.00.
Lesson learned - if it ain't in writing, it didn't happen.
 
DJ coming out the door and he just primped or the doors opened to find you blocking his exit from the elevator? Without DJ equipment how could you tell he was a DJ or did you have a run in with him some other time?

Hats off to you working in that environment of 95th floors for venue rooms.
 
I disagree with the "Stupid, stupid, stupid" thing. If you've learned from it, then you may have saved yourself a bigger headache somewhere else.

Now, if you make the same mistake again...then I may agree with you.:)
