You have to be kidding! I've been at this a LONG time. My first set were custom made by me. Have been through Radio Shack,Technipro, Gemini, Audio 2000, Eons, Peavey, and more- customizing 2 way to 3-way in a lot of cases. Now at EV and thrilled. They may get replaced, but they're still gonna be EV.

I could list many systems through the yrs but in my Canadian efforts I used my Mackie SRM 450's with an occasional sub rental as well as a few efforts requiring tight spacing and used the BOSE stick for those applications in the past four yrs in business. The Mackies are in process of sale and hopefully DJ Scottie will enjoy them in one of his systems for yrs to come as well.. It is however official. themoney has been planted to begin my Dynacord system run. I likely will use these and two SXA 100 EV's as backups and as a small ceremony house system. Yes Ben can confirm and hopefully this week they are heading my way. I cant wait.

My first Amp & speakers were a 4-channel Tosh power amp & a pair of 10" can't remember the name speakers.... That was back in 1996.
These were replaced with a Mackie 1200 amp & a pair of EV SX100 speakers after I hit a jackpot on a $1 slot machine in Atlantic City.... ($2.5K)
THAT was a good day! I think this was in '97
Then after adding a powered sub woofer or 2 - Then came the powered speakers - First powered 15"s - American Audio APXs that still get used every now & then. Later a pair of SXA-100s when I needed ceremony systems, etc.
Finally in April '07 - THANK YOU Heather! - My pair of Bose L1s & 4 B1s.
Saving the BEST for last.

Still using my EV SH1512ER's I bought 20 years ago along with my Carver amp. For secondary and backup use I have a Carvin Amp and two different sets of Carvin speakers that I inherited from a former partner.
Moved from Pioneer and JVC home speakers (I still have them and they still sound great ) to Yamaha's, Talmus and Cerwin Vega. I'm happy with them and when I get the itch again I'll replace them with something else

Started out with JBL and EV then upgraded to Peavey and have been there ever since!
Finally found something that was reliable!
20+ years with original gear plus have added others along the way all Peavey speakers and amps.

Geez, I must be the oddball here.......I've still got every make and model of speaker I've ever owned. Maybe that's why you can't walk thru my basement without bumping into something electronic.

Get this! I actually had to DOWNGRADE the other night. For small venues I usually use small EVs. I had a technical problem and couldn't use my normal mixer or the EVS - No worries, fixxed the next day, just didn't have time that evening.
Anyway this was a small restaurant venue, and they prefer a lower volume show.
My other setups were inappropriate for this venue. Size, power, etc... So...
Terrified as I was, I dusted off some 15" Gemini 300s. Though I remembered that thier sound was ...um, ... not the greatest..., even after being modified to 3-way. I was hoping to be able to mix my way through it.
I gotta tell you, at low volume levels with good mixing, they didn't suck! Of course, if you try any volume at all they will cause constipation, but this was a very pleasant surprise! Actually got compliments on these pieces of junk.
