My tags are generally immaculate, although some do contain album artwork.

So far, I've had FOUR files rejected by Music Manager, and it was for things like saving an mp3 at 48,000khz versus 44.1khz. I UNDERSTAND what the error message means, and can easily fix that, especially on four files (versus the THOUSANDS of errors I got last time out).

Very Cool and glad to hear it!

Silvio and Rick and Silverfox: thanks for your help.

My pleasure, even on a holiday weekend.
Minus the need to format the drive and extra step with T&R to clean up your broken files, it should have been a seamless smooth experience. Connect device, copy files, open MM v133 and create DB = done. Everyone will always end up with a handfull of files that are out of spec. (48kHz, 22kHz, Mono, Album Art too large...)

Also: I'd like to participate on the denondjforums

I see you made it on, welcome!

Question re: T&R

I have it and apparently am using it incorrectly. Silvio says that it is a seamless easy operation. Can anyone give me any tips on its use. I am spending lots of time re-tagging. Is there some automatic feature I am unaware of?

If you want to just resave all the tags, you click on the Multi File Tag Editor tab, select all files, and click Save Tags.

If you are actually doing tag work, say replacing genre or something, you just sort by artist for example, select all Johnny Cash, and change the genre tag in the Multi File editor, and Save -- they all change.
