I called them and they do now sell the scrims separately. I like it because it’s lit weight. Just don’t know if they are built sturdy. Thanks SteveNot sure if they have different models, but the aluminum one with white scrim seems to have a good number of positive reviews on Amazon. Only issue is they don't sell replacement scrim panels, so you'd need to make your own if damaged .. https://www.amazon.com/Rockville-RFAAW-Facade-Weight-Travel/dp/B0732M8CG1
Making me think. What facade are you using?I've had one similar to this, not the exact one, but similar in terms of material... specifically in terms of spandex and lightweight framing. If you do any events where you're close to the dancefloor and exposed to being bumped and hit... this facade will not act as much of a barrier. I remember people resting their hands on it and the facade sliding or tipping one way or the other, and people dancing and as they were moving backwards, practically walking right through the facade and into my actual equipment since its so light and offers no resistance like a heavier facade would. There's also the downside of spilled drinks splattering on the floor and drops of liquid staining the spandex... or worse... spilling on the spandex directly.
I enjoyed it because it was cheap and lightweight... but and diffused the upliughting well.. but it offered minimal protection, and as a result got rid of it.

I LOVE this one. It has both white and black scrims, with built-in table. It's a very solid unit.

I don’t use that style facade anymore. I now have a custom tufted facade (about 25lbs per 2 panels) and a dj podium.Making me think. What facade are you using?
The Dragon Facades look incredible!ive never been a fan of that one for some reason.... anytime i notice that a company cannot get the wrinkles out for the actual product photo then good luck getting them out in reality....
Ive seen that one in use in gig logs...and it looks like the dj is inside of a bad spandex speaker cover
plus if im spending 500 dollars...im getting a dragon front board

Was that made by you or purchased from somewhere? That's what I use as well. I prefer the more substantial look, and I don't love the look of plexi/skrim being lit.

Have to admit, that is tough looking. How much does it weigh? How do you protect it while travelling? How much does it cost?
BTW, how sturdy is that Dragon Board? I have a substantial number of my gigs that are on dirt/grass and wondering if it's going to hold up or get holes punched into it by sticks/rocks. Your thoughts?
