Scott,
I will agree with you somewhat that no one software has everything but I tell you, Traktor gives me everything I want and more. The only think lacking is Video for Music Songs. (It does Karaoke). When people see Traktor they make comments such as "It looks too busy", "it is too complicated" etc. What does one really expect,a blank screen with a Red button that says "Push Play"? That program is loaded with all kinds of features and effects. You can change configurations on the fly etc. As a DJ program it is an all rounder. I personally like it better than VDJ, even without Video for Music files, it beats it hands down in features. They are constantly staying ahead of the curve with new releases that incorporate new and better features. The other DJ Software I respect and may buy is Serato, which as most of us know is geared mainly to Turntabilists and Controllers. I am looking to bring my two Technics 1200s back into duty, mainly for rentals to other DJs.
