What equiptment do you want to keep cool? Amps and processors if designed properly should work fine in the outdoor heat. For things like CDJ's laptops or turntables if you can get some sort of shade so no direct sunlight hits them and you should be fine.

Forgot who makes them, but Walgreens carrys an all metal 6" fan that's durable and pushes some air, at around 8 bucks, and they can be directed.

If you want some real air movement from a small size, go to the website for Okaya. These are serious equipment cooling fans. They also make passive electronic components that you might find of interest.

I went to Fry's Electronics & bought a little 4" computer fan & mounted it inside my DJ case (with velcro) & plug it in to my power strip when I need it.

It will circulate the air inside your case to keep everything cool....even when it's 116 degrees in Phx!
