Do you have an equipment load check list?

I was going that route at one time but I knocked it down to one. Basically I strike off the things I don't need for the particular event.

Pyle Pro speakers?

:D

Here's mine...

I have different ones for different configurations. This way, each one is very specific. The only thing that I have ever forgotten was a remote for a TV when I went to do karaoke. There was no way for me to get the TV on channel 3 or 4, which was unused, without the remote. That was one hell of a fiasco. I have since added the remote to my karaoke list of equipment.

On your list, I did not see speaker cables, extension cords, power strips or anything like that. Do you keep those always in one box?

No check-list here! Everything is always the same other than sometimes I bring a sub, sometimes I don't. That depends on the gig / venue so I just check my notes on that. Everything loads into the Astro a certain way behind the second bench so I would know immediately if I forgot something. The two small black Rubbermaid tubs, Acrobat case, coffin case and two cases of CD's always stay the same; oh and the cart too. In front of the bench, there are the speaker stands, light stand and sub-pole. My 'Pro' gear is not used at home. If it were, there would be a chance that something might get used and not put back; I can't take that chance.

I do add pieces for larger gigs but those are event specific.

Where do you keep your trailer? Is it marked? Has anyone ever messed with it/broken into it?

Don't tell him! Don't describe it to him! He has compadres out in Kansas City and he'll sell the info, trailer will be gone!

Pyle Pro speakers?

:D

I was in GC about a year or so ago and hear these great sounding speakers in the demo area. The highs, lows, and mids are very sharp. So I asked the sales guy about them. They were Pyle Pros. So I told him I wanted them and he said that he'd have a pair brought down from the warehouse and I told him that I wanted those on the floor. he sold them to me.

They're 700 Watts. Sometimes cheap speakers can be good.

I have a checklist... but will have to reformat it to post here...

Mine is more of a load out list.... first it inventories the storage bins and crates..

Then becomes a I load this into the car then this then this type of checklist until I have everything loaded in the car.... Then it's in the reverse so I'm sure I put everything back in the appropriate box or crate after the show and load up the car the same.

We've never needed a checklist. Everything that goes out lives in its own section of the utility room. It's all right there. Nothing gets scattered nor moved elsewhere. When the space is empty, we've got it all loaded.

Little stuff is always stowed in cases with the rest. Speaker and power cables are coiled and hung on hooks in the van. CDs that come in are stacked beside the desk and filed away in the case before a show.

Tom how would you like a new list that you can use

its got a multi use for you
