Ok when i tell you this scenario keep in mind we're a multi op so the playing field is a little different.

Have a girl who was a bridesmaid at a wedding we did three weeks ago

Her wedding date is in AUGST of 09

She wants to give me $100 down and $100 a month for 4 months to get deposit out of the way.

Pros are this makes her done the deposit before we're at 12 months to go,
secondly she knows the balance is due in full
Deposit "payments" are non refundable

if this goes south between now and July i have the extra cash for nothing. If it goes well i have a very satisfied customer.

Do it - sounds fair enough to be flexible with some people - things like this could be good for your search rankings too ;)

I agree with Zac and also say to ere on the side of a satisfied customer.

Put it in the contract that "Payments are to be made per the following schedule:" and then follow up on it...

You have everything to gain and nothing to lose... Good deal!

great idea Zac! Thanks

We offer payment plans...it's becoming one of the most popular ways to pay.
its done with a credit card and my system automatically charges their card every month. I just simply record the payment in djwebmin and im done. We do it for more than just deposits...we do it for all payments. I let them spread out the whole amount from booking up until the month before the event.

Scott would you happen to know how to make webmin do a schedule report? im getting really tired of it and thinking about switching to event planner or maybe gb4 if they ever put it out. I just like how pretty the user stuff is with webmin

oh yeah, scott, this payments is it through your merchant account or paypal subscription? what program do you use?

Kyle -

Gigbuilder 4 is up and running. You have to send Scott Rosenburg an email telling him you want to upgrade from 3. I found this out myself last night. Thing is, I'm just now comfortable with how G3 works. Scott and the guys at WEDJ are still working on some bugs in the system, although by now I think they have everything ironed out.

whats scotts email? or do you have to do it through the website. i want to see if its as pretty as they say it is.

Ive never been fond of their spreadsheet style calendar especially with the number of jobs on our calendar. Troys calendar kicks ass because it shows you how many gigs by status and then brings up the jobs on the right side of the page. Better then both webmin and GB in my opinon
