Founded a new group on Facebook that is all about lighting from China. It's a new group but it looks promising.

Wow... I can not get my phone to change it to "founded". Thanks for the fix. Yes, I personally founded the page but added the link from my phone.

Edited "founded" for you. Although I would prefer discussions to be here I'm cool with the link not like you're unknown here

I did request to join. I'm always interested in looking.

While I don't judge what others do. I have a hard time supporting any Chinese manufacturer that is simply knocking off someone else 's design.

I do believe there is a quality different most of the time in a product that is designed and QC'd by a company with their name on the line. Yes I know these lights are also assembled in China. But when they use cheaper parts and have less restrictions on Quality Controls, there is often a performance difference.

Supporting at least some jobs in the USA is important for me too.
 
Thanks for joining Scott. Certainly no one is questioning your views. We are only there to discuss lighting that comes from China suppliers. If you don't like the idea or have an issue, there is no reason to stay.

We are not using the page as a debate forum, just a discussion on the lighting itself.
