I have yet to get some Bats! In the Martin line, I have the T Rex, the SCX 500.

Keep looking brother. I thought it was hype but now I couldn't see parting with them. BTW, in case you find some, a Samson TXP308B case fits a pair of Acrobats perfectly.

Oh I will. I have wanted them for awhile. When they have turned up, I've been in a position that I couldn't get them and vice versa.

If I was doing a lot of weddings, my Lights of choice would be:
ADJ Revo
Chauvet Vue (N/A)
Light Bar
Bliss Light
Gobo Light.
Mirror Ball type effect light.
I would keep it simple and elegant. A lot of moving heads, flashing lights etc are more adapt to other types of parties and clubs.

I disagree with that about the flashing type of lighted because I've done many weddings that turned out to have many children attend the weddings that are fascinated and entertains by them.

Rick, I am not sure why they don't make 1 1/2" aluminum O-clamps. I have two older Chauvet aluminum clamps that work on 1 3/8 and 1 1/2 inch pipe, they are my prized possessions. I would like to buy more but cannot find any anywhere. If you find some, let me know please.

They have a "mini o clamp" on cheaplights.com. I ordered a pair of those and a pair of regular o clamps yesterday.

Please report back and let us know if either of them work on the 1 1/2" pipe.

The more I think about it, I might just use a clevis pin. I did this before when mounting fixtures vertically and it'd probably be the quickest and most secure method.

I'll have to second that. The fixture mentioned looks like it'll put out maybe 3 beams. The Acrobat does about 8-12 and it looks brighter. I put 2 of them on a single t-bar this past weekend and covered a 4k sq foot room very, very well. I've quit carrying my other fixtures.

Speaking of which, does anybody have a source on a METAL o-clamp that's 1.5 inches (for an Ultimate Support Telelock)? I'm using ADJ o-clamps and just have this fear they're gonna break.
This is what I use: http://www.chauvetlighting.com/clp-10.html Here are some more: http://www.thelightsource.com/ Claws. http://www.thelightsource.com/products/7/view

If the clamp, even with the insert, is too large for the pipe you can prefill the space with one of the following.
1.Make some elastic rings from 2" Heavy duty stretch elastic found at the fabric store. Just stitch the ends. When finished they should look like Napkin Rings.
2. Go to a bicycle shop and get an old innertube. Cut some rings about two inches wide.
3. Buy wide velcro strips that grab on both sides. Cut enough length to wrap around the pipe and attach.

How to install:
Pole Mounting: Slip the ring along the pipe to its desired position. Put the clamp around it and tighten.
Truss Mounting: Use the velcro idea as the truss have diagonal bars.
