This thread seems to prove one thing. Sometimes a remix works, sometimes it doesn't. Depends on the crowd. It also appears that no on has ever complained about playing an original. As a logical person I will take the scenario that works 100% of the time vs. something that depends on the crowd. Again my experience is relegated to weddings not clubs or grad parties where playing the remixes seems to make more sense.
