Ben - Source Four Jr. Zoom - HELP

One of the disadvantage of the Source Jr over the Chauvet Zoom is that they get hot!

View attachment 23711Plus they cost a lot more....So including it free or including it an a "package" doesn't hurt so bad.

Bill at ESC (on another board) had posted a photo of a 100watt LED projector, similar to the projector you use: procing is supposedly in the $800 range (look at the weight - 11 lbs.)

I'm very happy with this unit. My only qualm is I think I'll have a hard time finding a container to carry it in.

Yes, if you're using a light like the S4 Zoom, jr, or standard S4, a good practice as I was told was well-before the event, is to do a 5-10 minute burn-in of the monogram. Of course the monogram will be hot, so allow for proper cooling of the fixture/lamp & monogram before handling.

It will eliminate that odor of which you speak....otherwise, maybe you DO need a shower....LOL.

My question (& I don't think Bill saw it) was - "Are the lenses compatible with existing Source-4 lenses?" Just asking b/c I already own at least 1 of each mentioned.

Speaking of the S4 Jr. Zoom, I've been looking for a good case for this thing.
Most of the cases online seem to be for 4 or 6 fixtures (for production companies). I only have one fixture. Please share if you've found anything.

Hey "Skew" aint necessarily a bad thing. Think of all the logos that incorporate keystoning into their image. Hard to really know the angle until you're at the event and all tables are in place so pre-correction when making the gobo is difficult...

Anyway, tell the client, "I skewed it for you at no additional charge!"
