I own another Business, as an Art Consultant/Dealer/Framing Designer/Art Installer. Maybe this is why one of the reasons I do not like to see Gear in a Clump is because it looks conspicuous and unappealing.
A tried and true test is to squint your eyes and tell what is the first thing you see. If it jumps out at you then it becomes the focal point and overpowers everything else. For example when looking at a Framed piece of Art, if after squinting your eyes the Frame jumps out first, then somebody has done a poor job of framing that piece of Art. The Frame was meant compliment the Art not become the focal point..
Next time one sets up up their Gear, do this test and see whether you blend in or are conspicuous.

I'm an on air personality for 3 stations locally been DJing for 31 years come November. I've done alot of different jobs through the years owned a few businesses managed others but DJing has always been my "main" job or at least the one that has been consistent
 
Yea, for another 24 days.Have been working for GE Hitachi nuclear custom Fab.Machinist running a 5axis cnc waterjet.The office got fined a million dollars and they are shutting the whole factory down.Here I am at 56 years old looking for a job.Exactly what I didn't want to do.Please pray for me.
 
Full-time DJ for 31 years of the 35 business years in total.

Began to diversify income streams 5 years ago and will continue a smooth, controlled descending out of DJ world into personally owned businesses that are more behind the scenes. Johnny Dee is my role model in this regard.

Hobby (job?): DJ. 15 years.

My life is busy and full of kids. I'm pretty happy and lucky to have a job teaching music to little kids all week then DJ'in on weekends for bigger kids.

Plus all the goodies for the concert!

Been DJ for 20 years, full-time since 2008 (started DJ later in life).
Retired from work force and drawing Social Security. DJ full-time when I am not on vacation or trips to the beach (North Myrtle Beach, SC).
Specialize in wedding receptions and room ambiance lighting.
