WinME was definitely one of Microsoft's biggest blunders, but Win2K was one of the most stable and most prolific of IBM-compatible OS ever produced. XP had it's faulty beginning and now after seven years of band-aids, is a very reliable option. Vista is simply a resource hog like none that came before it as well as having the usual spectacular rainbow of Microsoft issues relating to security, compatibility and stability.
I would still use 2K but for some reason Mixmeister 6 dosen't like it

Ever hear of Windows ME or 2000....way bigger blunders, someones always going to complain no matter what they do...same thing happened with XP,:
Yeah, that seems to be the way of things anymore - as programmers develop new tools they tend to drop support for older OSs such as 2K.
