Need cheap and best dj earplugs

You have been exposed to loud music since 20 years? What if the crowd wants you to increase the volume? When people get drunk their hearing threshold increases and they ask dj to increase the volume.

I Agree.. how can something fill a hole in the frequency. Dont know the science behind it. Only JBL engineers will be able to answer it.

How to make my speakers more punchy?

I read in another forum that You almost never want your subs and tops to have the same crossover frequency, unless they are run at the exact same level. Because subs are typically run a lot louder than mains, you want a gap in between the two crossover points because the subs will 'fill this...

Got custom made covers for DJ system

Covers are damn expensive so I got them custom made. Importing them costs twice their actual cost due to import duty and shipping handling charges. I got all of these covers made for 6000 INR or 90USD.

    Extension cord question

I got one custom made from an electrical shop. It has 1.5 sq mm tricore wires inside. I use this to power my laptop , traktor controller and 1 1500 watts 18 inch jbl prx 718 subwoofer. I use a powerstrip for my tops and another one for lights. I use different main power outlets for each extension

How to make my speakers more punchy?

How to make my speakers more punchy?

I did an event today with my new sub. I was satisfied with the sound. I tried 2 different settings. Setting 1 : I turned off high pass filter and ran full range into my tops. Equed the lows in tops but it sounded muddy because the frequencies were clashing Setting 2: after enabling high pass...

How to make my speakers more punchy?

Great I never thought about it. What's your crossover setting for low and mid high? Is 80 Hz a good setting? I'm using a single sub so should I connect both the crossover channel's low outputs into the sub or 1 channel is fine? I use all powered speakers.

How to make my speakers more punchy?

I just added a single JBL PRX 718xlf sub to my mobile dj setup because i love bass and a fuller sound and because all the music produced these days has sub bass. I run left right balanced full range output from my mixer into the left right inputs of my subwoofer and then take the highpass...
