I am new to dmx:(. I keep having problems with my MX4s lamp cutting off when in editor mode of Showxpress 6.25. Not only that, but I am unable to add another mx4 fixture unless I completely create a new one? Why can't I just at a fixture from the import list as I did the first MX4 fixture?

Would you all mix lights? I really like the quad phase but currently have one Chauvet Elan and 2 Martin MX4s. I may get another elan or just get the quad phase but my lightshow wouldn't be uniform. This is going up on two on stage ls7720blt stands... Thoughts?

For those of you who had scanners and other lights prior to getting moving heads, what made u get he moving heads?

I currently have 2 Martin mx4s that I could sell for $500 and could get the tri/quad phases, but is that a better setup on a t-bar with ADJ colorstrips LEDs?
