    EV EKX vs ETX

Guys, I have the ETX 18's. If you feel they don't have enough power you are doing something wrong. Most school dances i don't even turn the subs up past 2 ( They go to 11 ). The bass is incredible. I would recommend the ETX powered 18's over ANY powered sub. While they are heavy , the wheels on...

Heard an RCF Evox system last night - wow!

I do love my Evox 8 although i agree that a gym is not somewhere i would be trying to use it if i was Dj'ing through it. For a speaking event with just a little backround music etc though absolutely i'd use it. I just need bigger subs if i'm gonna be in a space that large in my opinion. I use my...

Can someone please tell me which mixing board is this?

I actually have a Mackie DL32R now and I recently ran a festival with 10 bands using it. It was pretty crazy just walking around running everything from the ipad and not having a front of house booth setup at all. While i think for mixing large shows i still prefer a traditional front of house...

Can someone please tell me which mixing board is this?

How do you like the X Air 12? I have been considering the X Air 18 to put into my wedding Rack. Maybe i could build a new Reception rack with the 18 and a Ceremony rack with the 12

Gagnam Style .. no .. What Does The Fox Say .. old hat .. "PPAP"

I've had it requested a few times already - luckily i did find a remix on Crooklynclan.net that at least takes some of the pain away from having to play it. But yeah - annoying

DMX for one light only. Which program?

Ya know, i could probably help you with your Show Xpress if you have any specific questions. I've been using Showxpress for years now. It would be a shame in my opinion for you to get rid of what I consider the best simply for lack of tutorials. Granted, we taught ourselves for basically the...

DMX for one light only. Which program?

I'm a Show Xpress user and it would absolutely be my first choice. With that being said since it's only 1 light Luminair is a good option for ya if you happen to already own an ipad and a wireless router. I use a box from Eternal lighting called the " Elitenet " to run mine. You plug the...

    Denon Pro Wireless Audio

Wow, i actually didn't know this device existed, taking a normal microphone and turning it into a wireless or using it to transmit audio output from the mixer wirelessly is AWESOME. All of my Shure Wireless are SLX - i have about 12 of them. This is something to look into for sure. Did you make...

School & Teen Events 2016 High School Homecoming (Colorado)

I personally would pair the EKX tops with the ETX subs, yes. While the EKX subs are much better than the Live X Subs, the ETX Subs really are amazing. If you are doing School dances the ETX 18's are the subs for you.

School & Teen Events 2016 High School Homecoming (Colorado)

When i do large band events i'll usually use 4 ETX subs and stack 2 on each side and then pole mount the tops. Problem is you either have to have a ladder on either side of the speakers to be able to have 2 people go up and get the tops on and off the pole or you have to set the stack right in...

School & Teen Events 2016 High School Homecoming (Colorado)

That is true - they definitely aren't light. Granted The wheels built onto them are awesome which overall really makes them not nearly as bad as i expected. For some reason these subs don't feel that Cumbersome to me. With that being said, if you ever invest in ETX tops that's a different story...

I have heard good things about bass boss from the little that i've heard. But still, the ETX are perfect , I don't have any need to ever look anywhere else. I'm serious , just find a way to demo one and it'll sell itself.

School & Teen Events 2016 High School Homecoming (Colorado)

Take it from me - We do most of the homecomings and proms in this area and the ETX 18's are the way to go. So much so that pretty much every company in my area started renting mine for their dances and now they are all buying them for themselves as well. Soon it will be all ETX here in my...

School & Teen Events 2016 High School Homecoming (Colorado)

Looks great! As you start growing and looking into investing in new gear i would recommend investing in EV ETX 18 inch subs. Really you can use any tops you'd like to go with them but those subs are the kings of school dances in my opinion. You could do your homecomings and proms with just a...
