Talk about attacking someone for voicing their opinion??? Sorry you felt that my response for Toqers post was provoking. I didnt start it, I voiced my opinion and if this forum is so open to that, who are you Joe to criticize how I respond?? Your attack on me with this post is negative and only your opinion that others may or may not agree with. You have no right either in judging or belittling any other post or assuming I provoked anything since you were not involved in the post to begin with. I have seen your posts as well, and know you well. I respect your opinions and views whether I side with your opinion or not.
But to assume I was the provoker in this or accuse me of such is out of line, and a negative attack as well. So I put this to you Joe, If someone who posts on this site with their opinion about weed is acceptable, then my response should be just as acceptable without any judgement from someone like you, especially if this is such an "Open" forum about this subject.
Also if you had read my response Joe, you would have seen that I openly wanted this discussion to happen for all of us because it is sensitive to everyone who works in this Industry. So look at how you have responded to me Joe, and the negative way you have personally told me how you feel about my posts, how you feel I provoked the discussion when all an innocent poster such as Toqer did was open the floodgates about his own personal taste for weed on this site. Shame on you Joe for provoking me.

1) First, so you know, I happen to agree with you regarding drug use ( maybe not 25 years ago, but now) especially while working. the same goes for excessive alcohol consumption- I've got a job to do.....However, I felt no need to attack Toq, I merely skipped over it, as my opinion on the subject has no real impact. Why push it? 2) Though his post may have provoked you, it wasn't aimed AT you ( personal negativism). In my opinion, yours WAS personalized and mocking in tone. I just re-read it and I ask you: Was it meant to be respectful? Honest answer please.
3) I had, and have, no desire to provoke you Mike. I couldn't know one way or the other whether you would see my post, as you said you were leaving- which would've been a shame. I have nothing but respect and admiration for your efforts and attitude regarding Karaoke, A passion that we share. In the course of ny life, with great addition from hosting karaoke in public venues, I have learned that it's the DIFFERENCES between people are what makes hosting a blast. I have also learned that tolerance to those differences that I may find offensive aid in that enjoyment.
BTW- my post regarding YOUR post was a voicing of MY opinion, just as you voiced yours. It may also be noted that I spoke of my respect for your input in the same post......

Simple everything in excess is bad. Let's just remember that they all cause damage to your body. The exception to the rule is Rick "The Goat".
