Just curious as to what dual wireless microphones you think are the best? We have the Samson 288 Concert series dual wireless microphones and they work very well. I got it from KPODJ for exactly $250. In the stores the price is $329.99 plus tax. I like what we have. So I'm not rushing out the door to buy something else today. Just was wondering what do you like that's out there? Must be dual wireless microphones.

Why does it have to be a dual unit? 2 single units typically rack mount in the same space.

I don't use a rack to hold gear anymore. I have a controller inside a case.
That doesn't mean the receiver couldn't go into its own case or share one with your amps.

VocoPro VHF-3308. Great Sound Quality. Rechargeable Mics, and they look good. I have had compliments from wedding planners saying they are a cool idea for toasts, and for when bride/groom get on the mic. Gotta turn the gain up a good bit on them though. Not as sensitive as Shure Mics are. You can find this system on Ebay, ProAudioStar and Audio Savings sells it at a good price usually.

Want cheap, and a awesome RANGE. Get GTD mics. They are cheaper than the Voco Pros. Durable mics, but sound quality is not as good.

How much do you care to spend?

If quality matters but only a little bit, you'll be hard pressed to find something better than the Gemini UHF-6200 set. I use these for backyard parties and karaoke. It seems like you only DJ at backyard parties, so this might be a good choice, and it's only $129 at Musician's Friend.

If Celine Dion shows up at one of your gigs, you'll want something better. If these didn't say Gemini on the microphone, you'd never know it was Gemini.

If you don't want the labeling .. you can get the generic version .. Vocal Set High-performance Wireless Microphone for Shure SM58 Wireless Mic stage

Those Gemini mic bodies look like the same ones that GTD uses, just different head.
They're a ripoff (as are the GtD) of the Shure SLX handhelds ..

We do different types of events besides the one you mentioned. I just wanted to start a discussion. Not looking to buy more right now. If I were to give a suggestion I would suggest, Shure, Sennheiser and EV. There are others of course but be careful. Some may look attractive for the price but are pure junk.

Since you did mention it I went to KPODJ and they had dual wireless microphones from Shure I believe he told me $500 or $550. I would have loved to have bought that but couldn't afford it. When I can afford it that's what I want.

As usual, your questions are a waste of time.

This is what I tell people who are looking for DJs.

Considering you suggested these, are they what you bought when you were looking? If not, then why are you suggesting them to others?
