Here it goes everyone. We're not doing it. One of the partners is the one that mentioned his friend wanted us to come and do this. That's how I found out about this. It's just too much drama that I care not to be associated with. Now his friend has dropped out of doing this because he said this other guy that it really was his event took some money after his friend had found a place and spent the money on another place which was much cheaper. The place I heard he found cost $300.00 and I heard the place is in Elizabeth and real ghetto. I heard the place is very rough and not a place to be in.
Just to much back and forth with too many changes. Now I understand his friend wants him to pay him his $500.00 back that he gave this other guy. The guy said he only has $200.00 to give him. I also found out the second place they were supposed to have it that the owner knows all 3 of us DJ's. He knows me and the 2 partners. The whole thing is crazy and not worth my time. Besides I don't do events in a dangerous location. No amount of money is worth me taking a chance on things turning into a mess. I also heard that the first place raised the price up from $1,200.00 to $3,400.00. I guess because of the type of event and type of people they expected to show up in the place, that was the reason they jacked up the price. I don't know for sure. All I know is that I'll be at the house music festival today. My partner is playing there for 2 hours. From 2-4pm. I don't know3 the exact location. All I know is it will be in Trenton, NJ. End of story for me.
