GTD audio 787 Lavalier volume adjust....HELP...

Can anyone please tell me how to adjust the volume on these lavalier mics...
its way louder than the handhelds...I'm trying to match their sensitivity.

Use your Mixer's Gain! You do have a Mixer, right?

I don't have them and there doesn't seem to be any manuals online, but from experience with other sets, one would normally find a sensitivity adjustment either on the body pack in the form of a rotary setting (inside battery compartment), as a menu item on the body pack (transmit level or something similar), or as an adjustment on the receiver (either rotary or in a menu).

Hopefully one of the GTD owners can chime in.

Pop the battery compartment open. If your problem is the transmitter being too hot, just to the left of the cover latch is a pad switch, 0db and -10db. That will adjust the transmitter strength. If it's just a channel volume problem, there's a menu system on each receiver channel that will let you adjust the channel output as well. No manual needed.

aH-DJ, Yes I have a mixer...but this unit have an option to run all 4 mics off one channel of my mixer...this is why I need to reduce the sensitivity of the lavalier.

Steve, thanks for your response. I looked for everything you talked about but non....but there is a switch for 0 and -10db inside the battery compartment...I wasn't sure if there is another hidden adjustment....thanks

Sorry I should have been more defined. I should have asked if you are using a DJ or Live Mixer. When I hear Mic and Mixer I usually associate the Mixer with a Live Mixer. I know those two and four channel GTD Mics may have the ability to premix the Mics to give one or two consistent outputs. The problem with that, to me, is that if you are using all four mics, those four people may all have different levels of speaking. This is one of the reasons to have a suitable Live Mixer that can manage individual inputs and outputs as need. If you don't have a Live Mixer you may want to consider one. Get one that will not only accommodate all the Mics you are ever going to use at one time but also will accommodate the outputs from your DJ Mixer. What type, Make and Model of Mixer do you have anyway?

Actually Canute the GTD gives you the best of three worlds. they have summed and separate outputs. and each individual mic channel has its own level control.
