I am thinking about getting one of those small mackie mixers, for some ceremony stuff and some smaller jobs, where I can just hook up a mic and the laptop.Does any one know if they make a mounting box that would tighten up the cords and the look.Any suggestions?

Bizzy - I'd also recommend looking at the Allen&Heath Zed 10 (or 10FX with Lexicon effects). I have the larger 12FX and it's dead quiet, the effects are useful,.. AND .. it has a 4 channel (2 in .. 2 out) USB sound card built in.

What TheOlogee posted would work fine. You could also use something like a SKB case if you rack mount. I'm not sure if they make factory rack ears for that unit but something modified may work. This also may be bulky for you.
