Lady Gaga disrespecting the National Anthem

Many soldiers fought and died for that American Flag which she just took the liberty to change the word for, Listen to the end of this song closely, the Anthem is about our American Flag not the LBGT Flag and we are the Home of the BRAVE not the "HOME of the GAYS!!!" These are not my words they are lady

What a disappointment . USA is no longer a blessed nation!! Don't let anybody know you believe in God or know that your strait.

I am not for .. or against. I am also not a 'little monster' .. nor do I follow her every move. With that said, I try to see the multiple angles / sides of something.

First, many soldiers have also fought and died for her to have the right to say / sing whatever she wants - as with any other American, she is covered by the freedom of speech. If the people like it, she will continue. If not, then she most likely will stop .. as the people / fans are the ones that pay her salary. I didn't watch the whole video but I believe this was in her particular fan / support base, which knows what she believes in - which also explains the applause. Had this been done with a crowd outside of her fan base, it most likely would not have gotten the same reception. I also think that she knows this .. and would have performed accordingly.

This was done at the New York City Gay Pride Rally on Friday June 28, 2013 at pier 26. Yes she does have the right to free speech that some of us have fought and some have died for. Just as I have the right to disagree with what she does. Why pick the National Anthem, does she not have any other original song writers who could have selected a more original song. Guess her career is on the down slide and she is willing to do anything to get back in the public eye.
Sorry for the rant, but it just rubs me the wrong way.

I agree with everything you have stated. Even bad publicity, is still publicity .. and probably gets more publicity than something good.

I'll agree it disrespectful but this is nothing new in america. Go to a Oklahoma Sooners and for years they've been changing the words to "Home of the Sooners".
