One of the criteria I take into account when pricing, is the Venue where the event is going to be held. If the potential Client has chosen a posh, expensive, High End Location I will charge accordingly however, the higher price may include more services (Not Giveaways).
If a person chooses Grandma's Backyard then I know there might be budget limitations and also will charge accordingly but they will get less for the Fee. They should not expect Champagne for Beer money.

You can justify it anyway you want Houston, but you are do exactly what we all do.....the more people pay, the more they get. Stop trying to come off as some high brow concept here, because that is all you are saying.

It is not a "High Brow". I said that they "may include..." I did not say "will include".

Mix, raise your rates by 50 dollars this year. Next year raise them 50 dollars more. I know you get alot of crap around here. In Cali times are tight right now we have some of the highest unemployment in the nation especially in my area. But always remember usually within a 100 mile raidus someone is out there that is prepared to pay more if they deem you worth it. Don't try and be the best in the nation try and be the best Mix were you are today. This year we raised our rates by 100 dollars and so far the "right" clients are finding us to be "their" perfect fit.

Let you personality shine. I have been blessed to have a witty and comical personality and tend to have our clients and potential clients laughing and at ease with me. I try at our events to let my personality shine through knowing that I have alot of friends and its one of the reason we got booked. I even play a song at every event just for me to remind myself to be myself. Listen to my song and you will understand. And Mix if your a man of god have faith and believe god has you where he wants you to be, and if you try and he wills it you can do anything. I believe this because I have seen him working in my life and business everyday.
