New lav mic arriving today

Just checked and it's on the UPS truck for delivery today. I have 3 events running on Saturday and this unit will be retiring a Audio Technica 2500 (mid-level) on one of the Ceremonies. Still blows me away that it's only $169. How can they even buy enough rice to feed the chinese person(s) putting these together? wow.

I already have the 4-channel version and have shared several opinions in regards already. These GTD units are FANTASTIC value, imho. The transmitters have a 600-foot range and you can mix and match hand-held and lav units. I currently have 4 hand-helds and 2 bodypacks, along with 2 lav mic and 2 headset mics. The buttons are recessed just enough to prevent accidental bumps and the connector hardware is top-notch. At my Sunday event, I was setup at the back of the guests. Put a lav on the minister and the bride's brother sang using a hand-held on a stand and the 2nd lav was clipped to his uke and guitar (2 songs). He was about 100 feet away. I've yet to hear even a hint of a drop-out on any event I've used it. Here's a shot of the ceremony rig with the 4-channel version mounted in it:

GTD amp (450 per side), Behringer Xenix 1202 mixer, GTD 4-channel, all perm-mounted into a shallow SKB rack case.

Well, it's about $54 in parts, and labor is cheap. Trust me... at $169, they're still making money.

When I get the money, I'm thinking about the 4 unit system you have. I have 2 lav mics, but I use one or both for remote speakers, and when I have ceremony also, it gets tiresome moving them around.

OK Rick....thanks for the tip.....i shared the link and a few days later my new Dual LAV mics arrived.... my wife ordered the G-622L UHF 200 Channel Wireless Microphone System with an extra lav. 1 handheld and 2 lav for ceremony system.....for the money it can't be beat.....i've tested it at home since i did not work this weekend......seems good out of the box! I'll review after a gig...but I think this is a steal....let's hope it stays that way.
