Beatmix Party List

So Far the list is:
Don Henley - All she wants to do is dance
Billy Ocean - Caribbean Queen
Eric Church - Drink in my hand
Boney M - Rasputin
Stardust - Music Sounds better with you
The Bucketheads - The Bomb original

Keep it going. Remember, because something has the same BPM does not mean to say the Tempo is good to mix with another song of the same BPM. Also check your BPM for yourself, not all listed BPM on Song Labels and Tags are correct. This one is pretty much on mark. http://www.all8.com/tools/bpm.htm

Yes folks and if Canute says it doesnt mix just remove it for him please? Enjoy Canutes little game if you must. IF he cant mix two songs together your entry is worthless. Or you can simply avoid participating. Oh and he can change his thoughts like a woman.

Jon, stop being a Spoilsport. This is not a play by request or choose any song exercise. Could I mix any two of the above songs, I sure can. However that was not the purpose, the other posters did exactly as required. You posted a song that was totally off Tempo. I even stated a "Slip Cue" option asking for an explanation of "cut in" and "cut off" points. You did not do that.
Your song is not a bad one but for that mix it was not appropriate. Why don't you get more mad and delete the whole thread if that would make you happy! I am surprised you have not already done so.

Canute do your thing you know all.It was a perfect beat match by one beat and you talk about outside the box it wasnt off tempo anymore than a country song mixed with Carribean Queen so WTF are you talking about mr Wizard. Oh yeah its yopur thread your rules I forgot. I removed it As required now thats some funny s h i t !!!!! Once again your the rule maker. Next time lay out extensive rules and state that you have the right to nix any offerings as a bad offering? Im not mad your superiority complex is showing and Im laughing my arse off as you continue to show yours with that attitude. Have fun with your empty thread its likely over now anyhow.

leave that middle finger up and pull the others down and turn it towards yourself LOL Pure pitiful thats for sure.

OK Boys & Girls. I will start the ball rolling here. Choose a song and add after the last posted one for a beatmatch mix.
you can go up (Plus) or down (Minus) within 4 beats or a "slip cue" (You will have to explain this one as cut off and cut in points.)

WHERE IN HELL DID YOU INCLUDE ANY OTHER RULES. NEXT TIME SAY YOUR GOING TO CRITIQUE IT WITH YOUR ALL BEING POWERFUL DJ MIXING KNOWLEDGE CAUSE YOU KNOW IT ALL AND NO ONE ELSE HAS A CLUE!! I WOULD LOVE TO COME TO TEXAS AND RUN CIRCLES AROUND YA JUST ONE TIME! FUNNY THING IS RICK ASKED YOU TO SHARE YOUR SKILLS. I havent seen you man up even for that.

Take a Chill Pill Pal! Don't get yer panties all up in a wad. It was an opinion! I don't see anyone else disagreeing, only the spoilsport!

112BPM is 8 beats away from 120BPM, mixing the two is NOT Beatmixing or Beatmatching.

See there you go again Your wrong. Tell some of the guys I have worked with who made 12 beats match perfectly and beyond. Try a 110 with a 132 bpm song. both of those can be cued to 116 BPM quite easily and perfectly matched however the two songs mine and Steves were rather close beats. I can lay down beats over either of them to match them up perfectly too MR WIZARD~~~~~

Jon,
Apparently there might be a case of inadequate processing going on in your Cranium. What part of "after the last posted" did you not understand? How come the others did?

Nobody is disputing that some songs can be beatmatched even though they are way apart in BPM. That is NOT the issue. The issue is that yours is off Tempo and not something that a DJ will choose as a follow up to the Eric Church song (Unless it was a request to be played "next")

your ears are failing you. Dont pass the buck.
Wait your the almighty and know all hear all see all. I bet you bought your bible at the Dollar store.

Post #35 then Post #36....whats up with that Mr. Tuck? Babbling to yerself again? ;)
