Today I bought a Mini "Y" Adapter Cable at the Dollar Store for $1.09 (One Dollar and Nine Cents) and decided to check it out online at Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Acoustic-Research-AP-043N-Performance-Adapter/dp/B000O8SPT6
Amazing! A savings of $29.79. I love my dollar store. The same Manufacturer, Acoustic Research has the triple cable (3 Connectors) 3 RCA Male to 3 RCA Male also for $1.09. Same Performance series quality. DVI cables are also the same price.

Just make sure you attach the Y properly I have seen and heard many who connect them backwards. :trismug:
 
That is the cable one uses when they are using their Onboard soundcard out or from an iPhone or similar device. ;)
 
It's a decent cable (especially for the price). It's not technically a "Y" cable, which would be a signal duplicated in both branches, but a TRS to dual phono, for either insert duty or as you mention, hooking up a media player. Nice find.

That is correct, it is not a conventional "Y" cable acting as a splitter. There are lots of buys like that at my Dollar Store. They have DVI Cables of same and better quality by big name brands.
 
Canute you should buy a box or two of all these specific good finds and sell em to DJs far and wide for 3 times the expense to spread goodwill to all DJS who would love the deals and this form of spreading.

I am sure people have Dollar Stores in their areas but some feel that the Dollar Stores only sell cheap crap! I use Lighted USB Cables made by Belkin, paid $1.00 each. At Micro Center they are $14.95
 
It depends on the market .. Dollar stores around here don't carry anything like what you find (I look whenever I go in one to get aluminum pans or such).
 
Well next Time I go to the Dollar Store I will make a list of the Cables, Connectors etc and if anyone wants me to buy anything to ship to them I will be happy to do so. Remember those Expensive Bungee cords I recently bought and posted on here? They have a more expensive version there now.
Ahh hah! Get this I bought 12 Bags of Gihradelli Chocolate yesterday, $1.09 each.

There's a reason they call them dollar stores dude -- they get the leftover crap that nobody else can sell, or anybody that doesn't live in a trailer wants to buy ;)

I bought some candy from one up in NY once -- the first bite was wonderful, because I got to watch the worms squiggle out, and realized I just swallowed half of them... :eek:

Your mileage definitely varies from mine. Somebody has to get the shitty end of the stick. I am glad it ain't me! ;)
 
Canute, For somebody as picky as you are about what they eat and how they prepare it, I'm very surprized you would buy any type of food item from the dollar store. I'll give ya a pass on the cables but food.......really?

Our Dollar Stores are not the same as yours where you are. Today I stopped by and got a huge watermelon for $1.09 Walmart has the same size for $4.99. Expiration on the Chocolates I bought yesterday are Jan 2013. They don't buy left overs, they buy overstock. In some Dollar store you can get fresh bread and vegetables.

Not if I can help it...

Taxes are not real popular here in FL. I have a receipt from Walmart in front of me from the other day -- $40 and change, and the tax was .31 cents. I will deduct that 31 cents from my fed taxes, because it is a write off for my corp (along with the $40 and change -- office supplies) ;)

You feel free to pay for all the wars and bailouts...
