Very strong chance we'll purchase:

New EV TourX Subs and Speakers (we'd like to retire the Eliminators into backup to the backup status) and necessary amp(s) to power said TourX.

Kirby do forget to give GTD audio mics a serious consieration. If you only need 2 get the diversity reciever.

235/75/15's for my van.

New accountant for my taxes.

New suit for my body.

More training for my brain.

HHHHMMMMMMM........not sure.......

There are so many things I want to buy. New trailer, new lights, new DJ mixer, 64 channel digital live sound mixer, better mics for live sound drum kits, more monitors, more, more, more, more, more, more.......

What will I buy. New t-stands, another amp, a few effect lights, already bought the drivers for my new subs, new mixer rack. Probably some odds and ends along the way.

I really want to see what this duplicator I ordered is like. It's 24x in speed. I take it that's for copying DVD's. Please let me know if that's true or not.

You didn't link the exact one, but most likely it will copy unprotected discs, so probably not commercial movie DVDs. It's mostly for duplicating your own discs for short run fulfillment.

I want it to copy mixed cd's of mine and DVD's of me in action at an event. I don't care about making copys of movies.

We added our 3rd Bose last year right before the end of the year for tax season. Depending on this year and finances we are thinking about a Stephen Lynch photo booth. Again the money must be there so that means my toys will be very limited most of the year. I did add an Ipad 2 for presentation to potential clients and to use in place of a clip board and paper for running our show. Though these back ups will be there as well. You never know when high tech can turn into no tech.

right now in negotiations to buy two EV ZXA1-SUBs.
they have dual 350-watt amps, so I will be able to use them to power themselves
and power my passive tops...
and ligthen up my rack since I wont need the amp

Mike - The ZXA1-SUB does not have the ability to power a passive speaker. The unit has pass thru XLRs to feed an active top, but the top needs to have a built in amp. If you need that capability, you will need to choose a different sub.

my bad, Steve
I was researching several Subs
and got the specs confused with the SB2A from EV.

thanks for "straightening my tie"

Yea .. that one will work, but it is on closeout (discontinued), so grab one while you can.

Not much on the list for this year, except to put a nice ceremony rig together. I didn't even offer that until late last year and it landed me several nice paying gigs. I'll pick up a smaller case, a wireless lapel (already have a handheld) and some wired sm58's. I like the GTD Audio amps for the price size and weight. I'll be using a small Mackie mixer I already have and be utilizing a pair of TX15's for broadcast.

I am not getting anything unless my bookings pickup.Got my eye on some Slimpar 64's though!
