We ran one this past weekend and this was the first one I've had where folks actually fairly risque. Oh yea, the company is a bank on an army base. While I didn't have any fully-shown body parts, I did have some girls hiking their dresses up, showing their panties, birds shot, etc. I'm suppose to make a copy of all the high-res images and give them to the company. Just wondering if you guys delete those kinds of images, rather than send them to the client? (okay, I might keep a copy for myself - you know, for reference purposes)

We would need to analyze the pics here to see what should be done yorofl:
 
I don't know that I'd send anything explicit to the client. I can see the argument either way but my morals tell me that's something I would not do.
 
Seriously, I would talk with the bride and groom about it. The reason for this is maybe they put the people up to it and are waiting for the results. If this is not the case they'll probably tell you to delete them.

Sorry, but they're not your client's pictures unless they specifically asked for such pictures. I'm sure that this behavior was the furthest thing from the client's mind when they hired the photo booth. Including them or even making mention of them could greatly insult the client and tarnish the experience.

Those that posed for such pictures were either intoxicated, ignorant or both. It's disrespectful to the couple, the event and the DJ/vendor supplying the service. Not only would I delete the photos, but I would also put up a disclaimer stating that such poses will be deleted the next time I ran a booth.
 
I would think such poses might be left out of the final product, especially in this case where it's a company party. It would probably be better for all those involved.

At weddings, I wouldn't care so much because the folks who are hiring the photobooth know their guests a lot better than we do.

Going a little extreme there Hank? Since when are you appointed to decide what is right and wrong for everyone?

Extreme? Yeah, I'm an extreme kind of guy. I'm appointed to decide what's right and wrong for anything my name and reputation are attached to. If this wasn't a problem or a moral question, then why was it posted?

Whichever side you're on, the guidelines need to be in place before stuff happens, not after.

Very true, but the way you were making it sound is that for everyone, everywhere this sort of behavior is innappropiate. Which would be far from the truth.

Guess I wasn't very clear; this was a company Christmas party, not a wedding. That said, you make a good point. I normally take the photo album home and go through it but at this one the party sponsor left with it before I could catch her (my tech let her have it). I'll obviously delete the questionable shots from the CD before I ship it but I have already gotten back positive feedback from the client. Hopefully, the album's contents won't tarnish it as I'd enjoy working with these guys again. BTW, here are the main shots in question (to be deleted shortly):

If I were you I would Blurr the faces on those pics you just posted. You are invading those people's privacy and putting Dan and this Forum in jeopardy.
 
They may not even remember doing it. Why would you want your boss to see something like that? If management saw this, the employee(s) in question could get suspended or worse.

Good point. I think I'll email the contact and alert her and ask her to remove it. I'll obviously get rid of the shots from the CD. Since my point is made I've also deleted the shots from picasa as well. Live and learn.
 
I have removed the pictures in question this is an open forum which can be seen via google search. Would you like it shown on the cooking forum since they could possibly cut and paste them from our site? Im sure your disclaimer doesnt mention that you have the right to spread content allover the internet.

Did the forum software copy the images to its server? I clearly un-checked the box to do that.
 
either way the links to them will show. I just chose to delete all possibilities. The pictures werent really necessary to prove your point anyhow.

My point is I want to know whether the forum software functions like its suppose to or not. There are plenty of times where I would not have posted pictures had I known the software was making copies when the posting instructions were to the contrary.

Oh dam, now I'm getting paranoid about whether those pics are in that photo album and whether it might come back to haunt me later. I already sent an email to the contact to make her aware and ask her to remove them (if they're there).
