Impossible to find songs

The past few weeks, I've been asked if I could find a couple songs if possible. One is Boom by Nelly, the other is LoveLand by R. Kelly. There seems to be no legal way to obtain these songs that I can see. There is the darkside of course, but I'd rather not if for no other reason than the sound quality.

Anybody have a clue as to a legal source?

I'd be asking them to provide it - or select another song. I won't jump to the dark side. It's not worth it.

For Here Comes The Boom, it seems that this was on 'The Longest Yard' soundtrack.

I have my must plays or special plays determined two weeks in advance of date and most often 30 days ahead at final meeting. I also state in contract that we will attempt all avenues to gain songs via legitimate channels and if its not available as DJ Dennis has said many times I suggest to them at the final meeting that if they have a copy we would like to get it ahead of time to make sure we are able to use it on the event date. I have found as of late more and more people want to find that unique selection of songs for the traditional portion of reception and figure if its on youtube it must be on CD or Itunes.

In both instances, the client knows I may not be able to get the song, so they understand. In the case of Boom, it is a ringtone, so we made a joke about it and I played that 30 second clip. lol

The client was asking me because they can't find it either.

I'm not seeing how it could be on the soundtrack either but everything I'm finding says it's there.

The usual places I look, it's not on the sound track. That includes iTunes and Amazon. As far as I can tell, the complete song is not in the movie either.

As far as I know, there is no song called "Boom" by Nelly. It is most likely being misrepresented on the web like most songs are. My guess is that the correct song is "Here Comes The Boom by P.O.D.". It is available on the soundtrack for The Longest Yard.

That's the song. Nelly may have performed on the track, but it is released under P.O.D.
The song was featured in a scene of the movie, but obviously left out of the soundtrack.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure that this is the song she wants and you can get it for a buck right here...(track 1)
