JL,

I hope you are wearing your flame-retardant pants!

That was the worst advice you could have given. Pros reside here and we don't simply 'frown upon' stealing, we despise those who steal or condone stealing. No wonder we have so many bottom-feeders. It's hard for those who play by the rules/law to compete against a thief. I bet those who steal their music also don't carry insurance or report their income to Uncle Sam.

Personal Attacks are not the answer. so please refrain from them.

Are you saying that i am not a professional? because that is pretty rude to judge someone by one comment.

It's hard for those who play by the rules/law to compete against a thief.

Are you labeling me a theif? Because I AM NOT a theif. I legally buy and aquire all of my music software and equipment.

Arnoldo ought to have the answer.

And what exactly is that supposed to mean?

Did I miss something?

What you missed was people acting juvenile.

Note to ALL:

I Have No problem with you bringing up issues with me! DO NOT bring others into it. Please stop acting like we are still in 3rd grade.

I AM MAN ENOUGH to admit that i gave bad advise and that i shouldnt have posted that part. I will admit the mistake. Please Be MEN enough to be civil about it from here forward.

Back to the OPs question-

I use Promo Only and have since 92. Check out their new POOL service. I've been using it for a while now and LOVE IT !

mmmmm looks like a blog, with all the paid download sites is needed to be added here

i'll get back on this one!!

Nothing more that I can add.... except that I don't see the problem with using iTunes... it's the same cost as most other digital download sources.... however, it should be noted that the EULA's of iTunes and the like state that the music purchased is for personal use and not commercial... so using them in a professional setting would be like bending their rules... but, not necessarily illegal.

but rob what happens if your caught ?

can you get away with it ? or get done like a turkey dinner ??

I don't condone illegal downloads, but the RIAA said that a far ad DJ use goes, iTunes is just as illegal as Limewire.

o_O Gee, why pay for it of its gomma be illegal... That's the main argument anyone could say. Thank God for record pools...
